Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Amarce! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dileno Carneiro! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carneiro fails with the takedown. Amarce closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carneiro quickly recovers to half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Amarce tries to pass the half guard into mount. Carneiro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Carneiro is looking to get back to full guard here but Amarce has managed to pass to side control instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amarce tries for a kimura but Carneiro is defending well. Amarce working the head and body with strikes. Amarce landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Amarce tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Amarce tries for a kimura but Carneiro is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carneiro tries to bench press Amarce off him but Amarce keeps the position. Carneiro is working to avoid the ground and pound but Amarce connects with a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amarce controls the position. Amarce trying to control the position but Carneiro is working away. Amarce is putting a hurting on Carneiro here, landing some big shots from side control. Amarce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carneiro keeps working. A lull in the action here. Carneiro can't do much from the bottom here. Carneiro wants to get back to his feet but Amarce is dominant here and he's now got Carneiro's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amarce has good solid back control here. Carneiro looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Carneiro is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action! Good control from Amarce. A lull in the action here.
Amarce is trying to stick to Carneiro's back but Carneiro is turning into Amarce. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Amarce's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carneiro.

Carneiro trying to control the position from guard on top but Amarce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amarce looking for a triangle here. Carneiro is fighting it but it looks tight! Amarce pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Carneiro is tapping out - this one is all over!
