Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Breeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opie River (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying River's choice of entrance music: Skillet - Monster . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Breeze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Opie River! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! River dives in and scores a takedown into Breeze's guard. River looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Breeze keeping full guard, as River tries to pass. River passes Breeze's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Breeze wants to improve his position but River is controlling well.
Breeze wants to get back to his feet.
Breeze is looking to control River's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Breeze avoid being mounted? Breeze wants to improve his position but River is controlling well.

River looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Breeze is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but River pulls his head out easily. River is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Breeze defends it well. Breeze moves into full guard.
River tries to free his leg and advance position but Breeze is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breeze is trying to keep River in close.
River throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Breeze works some decent striking defense from the bottom. River trying to control the position from guard on top but Breeze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Breeze looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Breeze has an active guard here but River has managed to pass into half guard.
River working Breeze over with strikes. Breeze wants to get back to full guard but River has passed into side control. River is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Breeze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breeze struggling a bit here. River tries to move into full mount but can't pass Breeze's legs. River wants to lay and pray for a moment but Breeze keeps working. Breeze looks to move to half guard but instead River has passed into mount! Damn! River manages to capitalize on a mistake by Breeze to take his back! Breeze rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. River is keen to just control but Breeze is a slippery customer. Breeze tries to get to full guard but River has control of the leg. Breeze trying to control here.
Breeze blocking the ground and pound attempt from River. Breeze pushes River off and gets back to his feet. River misses with a wild body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. River throws an overhand right that lands on Breeze's shoulder, as Breeze tries to avoid the shot. River shoots for a takedown but Breeze saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. River connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Opie River will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
River pivots, looking for a leg kick but Breeze is out of range and River settles back down. River thumps Breeze with a low kick. Breeze avoids the body shot from River.
River lands a slapping body shot.
Breeze fails with a takedown attempt from distance. River doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. River comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Breeze checks the leg kick nicely there.
River thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Breeze if he has to take too many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. River thuds a left hand into Breeze's body. River shoots in looking for a takedown but Breeze manages to keep the fight standing, pushing River's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Breeze misses with a telegraphed body shot
and River counters with a nice uppercut. River scores with a crisp jab that stopped Breeze in his tracks. River dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Breeze. That did some damage! Breeze looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. River connects with a leg kick. Breeze looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. River lands a nice leg kick that just misses Breeze's sensitive parts. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! River lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Breeze circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. River gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. River throws a low kick, looking for Breeze's leg but Breeze calmly moves out of range. Opie River seems to be getting the better of the standup. Breeze takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. River misses with a wild combination.
River closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Breeze did well to prevent River getting side control. River looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
River slips a nice elbow through Breeze's hands, connecting with Breeze's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breeze wants to improve his position but River is controlling well.
Breeze is not content to let River control the position. Breeze is trying to control but River manages to pass to mount!
Breeze tries to lock up and control but River gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breeze is working to get back to half guard.
River fails to advance to Breeze's back. Breeze throwing hammer fists to the chest of River. What's that going to do exactly? Breeze sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Breeze flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Breeze blocking the ground and pound attempt from River. Breeze regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from River. River missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Opie River showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

River is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Breeze. River lands an overhand right. River scoring well with a low kick there.
River rushes Breeze and presses him up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A right hand to the body from Breeze.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breeze tries to work over River's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. River is defending well against a takedown attempt. Breeze is stalling here.

River gets underhooks to prevent Breeze's takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Breeze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Breeze wants to take the fight to the mat but River manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. River lands a right hand. Breeze wants a takedown but no success here.

Breeze is looking for a takedown up against the cage. River gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Breeze is trying to drag River to the mat but River just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Breeze prevents a body shot from River.

River escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
River misses with a wild body shot. Nice body punch from River. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. River tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A shot to the body from River misses and River takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. River scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Breeze doesn't seem bothered though. River scores with a sloppy right hand. Breeze should have avoided that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. River scores with a hook to the body. Breeze takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. River tries to bum rush Breeze with a series of wild strikes but Breeze uses good footwork to avoid the assault. River dips down and scores with a jab to the body. River connects with a body shot that sends Breeze's belly button to the back. Opie River is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nice straight punches there by River. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of River. River changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. River cracks Breeze with an open hand slap. River throws a low kick but it's checked well by Breeze. Ben Breeze has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breeze doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. River is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. River connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. River lands with a cross. Breeze looks to score with a jab to the body but River is just out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. River scores with a shot to the body.
River dips to his left and cracks Breeze with an uppercut!
And that's the end of the fight! Opie River comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well River has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
