Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Alford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Kolapaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keijo Kolapaa will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gaston Alford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keijo Kolapaa! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurstr�m and Matti Vanhoillinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Alford blocks the body kick.
Kolapaa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alford swivels and escapes. Kolapaa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alford pinned against the cage. Alford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Alford fails with the takedown. Alford stuffs the takedown. Gaston Alford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keijo Kolapaa. Alford takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kolapaa has his takedown stuffed
and Alford counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kolapaa!
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kolapaa is looking for a sweep. Alford takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Kolapaa to pass into mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolapaa is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. Kolapaa tries to hold on but Alford pushes him away.

Kolapaa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Alford has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kolapaa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kolapaa trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kolapaa controlling Alford's posture. Kolapaa wants to sweep but no luck.

Kolapaa has an active guard here but Alford has managed to pass into half guard.
Kolapaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kolapaa is concentrating on defense, preventing Alford from advancing position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Keijo Kolapaa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Alford stuffs the takedown attempt from Kolapaa. Kolapaa gets slowly back to his feet. Kolapaa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alford pinned against the cage. Alford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kolapaa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alford sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kolapaa somewhat. Gaston Alford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keijo Kolapaa. Kolapaa tries to clinch there but Alford circles away.

Kolapaa moves into the clinch. Kolapaa tries to pull guard but Alford won't allow it.
Alford looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kolapaa goes for a takedown attempt but Alford pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Alford shoots in looking for a takedown but Kolapaa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alford's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kolapaa is defended easily by Alford. Alford really is a fat lump. Kolapaa tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Alford decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kolapaa's guard. Kolapaa wants to hit a switch here but Alford passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kolapaa there! Kolapaa is breathing heavily. Kolapaa is working to get back to half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poor strikes thrown by Alford there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kolapaa can't escape the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolapaa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Alford thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Kolapaa is trying to escape the mount.
Alford scoring with strikes but Kolapaa is staying in there. Kolapaa sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Kolapaa kicks off Alford and gets to his feet. Alford shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kolapaa pinned against the cage. Kolapaa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight stays on the outside here - Kolapaa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kolapaa rushes Alford and presses him up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kolapaa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alford ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alford no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kolapaa works a leg free and moves into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alford trying to hold on to Kolapaa's head to control him but Kolapaa postures up.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Keijo Kolapaa will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kolapaa wants to clinch. Kolapaa fails with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Alford or perhaps it was just good defense by Kolapaa which made him look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolapaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Keijo Kolapaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Alford moves out of range of the body kick from Kolapaa.
Alford defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kolapaa. Kolapaa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alford avoids it really well and circles away. Gaston Alford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keijo Kolapaa. Kolapaa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Alford fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alford fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Alford scores with a head kick.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolapaa ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kolapaa. Alford dives in and grabs Kolapaa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kolapaa pushes down on Alford's head and hops out. Kolapaa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alford pinned against the cage. Alford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Alford fails with the takedown. Kolapaa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Alford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kolapaa's waist but Kolapaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alford off to one side. Kolapaa shoots in for a double leg but Alford sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Alford defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kolapaa. Alford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kolapaa defends it nicely. Keijo Kolapaa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kolapaa tries to clinch
and Alford moves into the clinch. Kolapaa is trying to force a seperation but Alford has the dominant position. Alford goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kolapaa prevents it.
Alford changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kolapaa fights it off and pushes away nicely.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolapaa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Alford counters with a lovely straight right hand! Alford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kolapaa tries to avoid it but Alford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kolapaa to the ground. Kolapaa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Alford will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kolapaa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alford sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Alford shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kolapaa sprawls well. Kolapaa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alford gets slowly back to his feet. Alford stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Keijo Kolapaa. Well Kolapaa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
