The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tech takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Tech has managed to clinch.

Tech pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Turd throws a chopping leg kick but Tech manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Turd gets caught napping as Tech dives in and scores a takedown. Turd manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Turd tries to bench press Tech off him but Tech keeps the position.
Tech remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ground and pound from Tech seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tech has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well Tech has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
