Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Evil Ryu!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez scores with a punch to the head.
Ryu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Perez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ryu, right into the meat.
Ryu throws a head kick but Perez moves out of range.
Ryu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ryu has closed the distance and engaged Perez in a clinch.
Perez breaks the clinch.
Perez scores with a hook to the body. Ryu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Perez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ryu at a distance.
Ryu wants to clinch.
Ryu goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Perez misses the jab.
Ryu slips under a jab from Perez.
Perez throws a low kick but Ryu moves out of range easily.
Good exchange - Perez coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Perez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ryu misses with a leg kick
and Perez counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Ryu! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Perez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Perez!
Marvin Perez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
