Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ali Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robinson Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robinson Bell!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Norton.
Bell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Norton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Norton closes the distance and clinches.
Bell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Norton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Norton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bell wants to control from the top but Norton keeps moving.
Bell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Norton tries to bench press Bell off him but Bell keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Norton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Norton is just riding it out for now. Bell eventually gives up the hold.

Bell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norton's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Norton is defending against the submission attempts here by Bell.
Bell looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bell drives through with a takedown into Norton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Norton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Robinson Bell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Bell is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Norton is defending well.

Norton manages to break the clinch.
Bell throws a right hand that Norton ducks under and follows up with a left that Norton also avoids with ease.
Norton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norton swivels and escapes.
Ali Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robinson Bell.
Bell tries to clinch there but Norton circles away.

and Norton counters with a left to the body.

Some wild striking there from Bell.
Robinson Bell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bell swings for the body but Norton moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bell throws a body kick that misses
and Norton counters with a head kick. That will keep Bell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Norton shoots in looking for a takedown but Bell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Norton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Norton, pushing him back against the cage.

Norton jumps into guard, dragging Bell to the mat.
Norton can't keep his opponent in guard - Bell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bell trying to mount his opponent but Norton defends it.
Still in half guard, Bell seems content to control.

Bell is working for a submission of some sort.
Bell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Norton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robinson Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bell has hold of Norton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Norton seems comfortable defending it but Bell has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Norton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Norton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bell couldn't care less - he's delighted!
