Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Warren Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Teddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Teddy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Warren Dickson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Warren Dickson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Teddy! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teddy shoots in and bounces Dickson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Teddy wants to control from the top but Dickson keeps moving. Teddy stands up and waves to Dickson to follow him. Teddy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dickson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Teddy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dickson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Teddy wants to stand but Dickson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dickson pulls Teddy in to control the position. Teddy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teddy engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Teddy advances to half guard. Dickson wants to get back to his feet.
Teddy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Teddy trying to control from half guard but Dickson is working away. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Teddy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Teddy is looking to take a break and control but Dickson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michael Teddy. Teddy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Dickson counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Teddy gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dickson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dickson misses with a low kick.
Teddy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dickson tries to bench press Teddy off him but Teddy keeps the position. Dickson wants to control but Teddy postures up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dickson is looking to reverse the position. Dickson trying his best to control but Teddy has mounted him. Teddy has control of Dickson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dickson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dickson really wants to buck Teddy off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dickson is squirming around, avoiding Teddy's attempts to control the action. Teddy stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Teddy avoids the head kick by Dickson.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Teddy. Teddy wants to control but Dickson is keeping him busy. Dickson trying to control but Teddy flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Dickson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Teddy.
Dickson looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Dickson is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Teddy manages to miss with strikes from the back. Teddy not allowing Dickson to control his hands. Dickson is really stuck here.
Dickson just trying to survive but Teddy is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Teddy is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Dickson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Teddy looking for the RNC. Teddy patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Teddy dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Teddy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Teddy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Teddy escapes and gets back to his feet. Dickson gets caught napping as Teddy dives in and scores a takedown. Dickson manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dickson is controlling Teddy's posture. Teddy pushes down on Dickson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dickson is trying to control but can't.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dickson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Teddy decides to stand and escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teddy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dickson is rocked! Teddy rushes Dickson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oh Dickson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dickson takes an elbow to the forehead. Teddy manages to break the clinch.
Teddy forces Dickson back against the cage and clinches. Teddy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dickson tries to break the clinch but Teddy is controlling the position. Teddy manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Teddy has Dickson pulled in close to control his posture. Teddy is breathing heavily. Teddy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dickson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dickson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Teddy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dickson is aware though and is defending well. Teddy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dickson's guard. Teddy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Teddy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dickson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dickson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dickson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Teddy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Teddy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Teddy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Teddy trying to control but Dickson is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Teddy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dickson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Teddy gets to his feet. Dickson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Teddy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Teddy decides to return to a standing position. Teddy instigates a clinch. Teddy pulls Dickson into guard.
Teddy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Teddy has his foot on Dickson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dickson works his way back into a safe position though. Teddy pushes Dickson off and gets back to his feet.
Dickson takes a kick to the side of the head. Teddy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Teddy is trying to get an arm triangle but Dickson is defending well. Teddy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Teddy looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dickson is avoiding damage well.

Teddy stands up. Teddy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dickson backs up against the cage.
Teddy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Teddy lands a big head kick that sends Dickson to the canvas! Teddy follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Teddy!
