The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Daniels counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Daniels.
Daniels lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Roberts is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daniels pulls his head out easily.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roberts on the ground.

Daniels is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roberts has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Daniels is looking to defend but Roberts has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Daniels! Roberts pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Daniels taps out and this one is all over!

A less than humble Rich Roberts misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
