Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phoenix Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Do! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phoenix Miyamoto! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center. Do motions for Miyamoto to come forward. Do throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Do lands with a nice body punch. Miyamoto misses with a few strikes there.
Do dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Miyamoto. That did some damage! Do steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miyamoto. A punch lands to the side of Miyamoto 's head but he takes it in his stride. Phoenix Miyamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miyamoto is looking to clinch but Do is avoiding it.
Miyamoto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Do manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miyamoto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Do - the referee stops the clock and Miyamoto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Do. Miyamoto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miyamoto on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Do. Do obviously looking to wear him down.
Do circles away from the clinch attempt and Do counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Miyamoto thows a left - swing and a miss! Miyamoto tries to clinch but Do is having none of it. Do blocks a jab. Miyamoto clinches up with Do and pushes him back against the cage. Our sources have told us that Do has been working on his elbows in the gym. Miyamoto misses with a punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do misses with a body punch.
Do tightens his grip and picks Miyamoto up, before dumping him to the ground. Miyamoto manages to land in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Miyamoto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miyamoto keeping full guard, as Do tries to pass. Do with a flurry of punches that miss. Miyamoto is trying to keep Do in close.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miyamoto can do anything to dispel that myth. Do missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Do with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Miyamoto is trying to control the position but Do postures up. Miyamoto wants to get back to his feet but Do is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Miyamoto tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miyamoto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miyamoto wants to hit a switch here but Do passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Miyamoto there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Do lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Do working the ground and pound effectively.
Do lands a couple of good shots and Miyamoto has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Miyamoto is rocked!
It looks like Phoenix Miyamoto has been cut. Do lands strikes from the back and Miyamoto isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Do! Jumping up and down and very excited, Bruce Do waved his t-shirt featuring Kemists ↑ 5x160Q's logo in front of the cameras.
