Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rutger Snabel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam looks to score with a jab to the body but Snabel is just out of range.
Bam is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Snabel throws a right hand that misses
and Bam counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Snabel is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bam asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee asks Bam politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bam prefers to stall for the moment though.

Bam has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snabel keeps working.

Snabel sneaks out the side door and pushes Bam away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Bam seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Snabel pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bam back to the cage. Snabel follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Snabel is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bam had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Snabel dips a shoulder and cracks Bam with a mighty uppercut! Bam falls back against the cage and Snabel unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bam is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Snabel screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
