Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nolan McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Triad tries to clinch but McDonald is having none of it.
McDonald throws a head kick but Triad moves out of range.
McDonald keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McDonald closes the distance but Triad moves to the side
so Triad counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Triad looking to sit in guard and control but McDonald gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
McDonald wants to stand but Triad has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Triad manages to escape and get back to his feet.
McDonald throws a low kick but it's checked well by Triad.
McDonald closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Triad is striking from the bottom but McDonald uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Triad is looking to control McDonald's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Triad avoid being mounted?
McDonald is taking a breather. Triad says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McDonald tries to stand but can't do so whilst Triad controls his leg.
McDonald is breathing heavily.
Triad is looking for a sweep. McDonald is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McDonald is trying to break the clinch but Triad has him pressed against the cage.

Triad has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McDonald is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Triad.

Triad shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McDonald pinned against the cage. McDonald gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well Triad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
