Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Peerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Kyznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peerson comes to the cage accompanied by Good Feeling. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Peerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Kyznetsov! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyznetsov tries for a takedown but Peerson circles away easily and Peerson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Peerson throws a one two combo.
No joy there for Peerson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kyznetsov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Peerson as he avoids it easily. We've been hearing reports that Peerson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Peerson scores with a takedown into Kyznetsov's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kyznetsov has a closed guard, preventing Peerson from standing up. Peerson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Peerson wants to control from the top but Kyznetsov keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ross Peerson. Kyznetsov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peerson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kyznetsov somewhat. Ross Peerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Kyznetsov. Peerson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kyznetsov tries to avoid it but Peerson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kyznetsov to the ground. Kyznetsov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kyznetsov looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kyznetsov takes a swing at Peerson's ribcage but misses. Kyznetsov looks to score with a jab to the body but Peerson is just out of range. Peerson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Peerson throws a combination that misses and Kyznetsov counters by clinching up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peerson can't break the clinch.

Kyznetsov goes for a double leg but Peerson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Peerson continues to drive forward. Kyznetsov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Kyznetsov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Peerson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kyznetsov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Peerson leaves Kyznetsov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Peerson looks to throw the jab but Kyznetsov is out of range. Kyznetsov takes one to the chin there. Peerson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Peerson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peerson wants it to stay on the feet. Peerson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kyznetsov takes a body punch but keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peerson lands a two punch combo.

Peerson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyznetsov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kyznetsov, as that shot connected.

and Kyznetsov counters with a low kick, right behind Peerson 's knee. Kyznetsov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Peerson throws a leg kick and Kyznetsov counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Peerson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peerson lands in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kyznetsov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyznetsov keeping moving, preventing Peerson from controlling successfully. Peerson prevents Kyznetsov from getting back to his feet. Peerson postures up and lands a big shot to Kyznetsov's brow. Peerson advances to half guard. Peerson wants to work for an arm triangle but Kyznetsov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Peerson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kyznetsov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kyznetsov controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peerson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peerson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Our spies down at at McGarrys plant works inform us that Kyznetsov has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Peerson wants to control from the top but Kyznetsov keeps moving. Ross Peerson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kyznetsov is defended easily by Peerson. A combination from Peerson does no damage. And that's the end of the fight! Ross Peerson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
