Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Togu Zasou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zasou might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sandstorm. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Davies lands a few punches from side control.
Zasou stops Davies from passing to mount.
Zasou is trying to control Davies's posture but Davies avoids it.
The strikes coming from Davies are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Davies tries to advance to mount but Zasou denies him.
Davies is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zasou knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Zasou is trying to improve his position.

Zasou sneaks back into half guard.
Zasou is looking to control Davies's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zasou avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Davies fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zasou, pushing him back against the cage.

Davies tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Zasou seems to have got his legs back now.

Davies is working an open guard so Zasou takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Davies looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zasou is fending him off so far but Davies persists. Nope, Zasou circles away and we're back to standing.

Zasou tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Davies just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zasou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davies shoots in for a double leg but Zasou sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Togu Zasou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Davies.
Davies shoots in and drives through. Zasou sprawls well.
Zasou closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zasou is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Zasou has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Davies is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Zasou is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Davies is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Zasou lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Davies hang on?
Davies wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Can Davies hold on?! Zasou is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Zasou lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Zasou is punishing Davies with strikes - can he finish him?!
Davies controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zasou has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Davies's body.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Zasou's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Zasou slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

A close round but Scott Davies will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Davies throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zasou's waist but Zasou gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davies off to one side.
Zasou clinches.
Zasou is pressed up against the cage. Davies has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zasou down to the mat. Zasou avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Davies feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zasou's calf.
Togu Zasou is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Davies counters by clinching up.
Davies fails to pull guard.
Togu Zasou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Davies.
Zasou's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Davies is fighting off a takedown attempt but Zasou is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Davies to the mat. Davies regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Davies looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Zasou puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Zasou stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zasou is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Davies gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Zasou shoots in and bounces Davies off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scott Davies comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Davies has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
