Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Soon Do!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Vincent!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincent shoots in for a takedown but Do shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Do misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vincent.
Vincent throws an overhand right that lands on Do's shoulder, as Do tries to avoid the shot.
Vincent misses with a wild body shot.
Do showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vincent.
Vincent lands a body shot.
Do throws a wild body kick that Vincent sees coming a mile off.
A shot to the liver by Do. Beautiful body shot.
Vincent takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Do looks to throw the jab but Vincent is out of range.
Vincent has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vincent walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Vincent decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vincent takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Vincent stops Do from getting back to his feet.
Do taking some punishment here, with Vincent in his half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vincent thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Vincent missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Do wants to control but Vincent is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Vincent not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Do trying to hold on to Vincent's head to control him but Vincent postures up.
Do wants to get back to full guard.
Vincent seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Vincent is trying to control. Do wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vincent wants to pass the guard but Do is defending well.
We've been hearing good reports from Do's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Vincent is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Vincent thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Do's head.
Vincent wants to control but Do is keeping him busy.

Do wants to get back to his feet.

Do works his way to full guard. Good work.
Do keeping full guard, as Vincent tries to pass.
Vincent connects with a couple of short punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do trying to control the position.
Do is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vincent slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Vincent.

Vincent is working to tighten his grip on Do's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Do has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vincent is really squeezing tight and eventually Do passes out! Vincent breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Vinnie Vincent!
A very excited looking Vinnie Vincent made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
