Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Pegeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pegeant shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Pegeant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pegeant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Johnson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pegeant pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pegeant darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Pegeant into the cage.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pegeant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pegeant's face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johnson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pegeant's head.
Pegeant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard.

Brian Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dennis Pegeant.
