The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalhaes tries to keep at a distance but Mackintosh has taken the fight into the clinch.
I was talking to Mackintosh's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Mackintosh slows down the pace here.
Magalhaes tries for a takedown but Mackintosh manages to get underhooks.
Mackintosh manages to break the clinch.
Mackintosh looks to land a combination but Magalhaes avoids it well.

and Mackintosh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Magalhaes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mackintosh lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mackintosh connects with a looping right hand.

Mackintosh lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mackintosh keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Magalhaes is rocked!
Magalhaes loses concentration momentarily and Mackintosh pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Magalhaes crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Mackintosh finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
