The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonifacio displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fregrbws.
Fregrbws closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bonifacio's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Fregrbws looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fregrbws wants to control from the top but Bonifacio keeps moving.
Fregrbws slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like Fregrbws might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Bonifacio tries to sprawl but Fregrbws drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Fregrbws seems content to control.

Fregrbws is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
