The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadoic fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Riverboat on the side of the head.
Riverboat tries to move into range but Kadoic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kadoic connects with a single shot there.
Riverboat tries to clinch but Kadoic moves out of range.
Kadoic bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kadoic misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've been informed that Riverboat has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kadoic lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Riverboat has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Riverboat and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kadoic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kadoic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Riverboat has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I was talking to Kadoic's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Kadoic circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Riverboat drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kadoic follows Riverboat to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Drazen Kadoic got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
