Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darwin France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). France comes to the cage accompanied by bring me to life. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darwin France!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
France misses with a hook. Pitbull ducked under it nicely.
Pitbull stuffs the takedown attempt from France. France gets slowly back to his feet.
Pitbull keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
France misses with a looping left.
France takes a jab right on the kisser.
Pitbull misses with a looping right.
France throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pitbull's waist but Pitbull gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing France off to one side.

Nice uppercut lands for France. That snapped Pitbull's head back.
France shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pitbull but Pitbull pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pitbull fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. France looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

France struggles to land a body shot inside as Pitbull controls his hands.

France pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Pitbull wants to clinch up but France keeps it at a distance.
France throws a shot from downtown. Pitbull moves away and avoids it.
France misses with a head kick.
France fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pitbull avoids it really well and circles away.
France really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
France takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pitbull ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

France shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pitbull's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
France postures up.
Pitbull is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
France is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pitbull is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Darwin France just wasn't active enough.
Pitbull misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy Pitbull dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Pitbull tries to close the distance and clinch up but France swats him away and circles back towards the center.
France throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pitbull throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent France stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

France manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pitbull on his heels. He'll look to pass Pitbull's guard now, I'm sure.
Pitbull lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for France!

France is squirming around, avoiding Pitbull's attempts to control the action.

It looks like Darwin France has been cut.

France is trying to reverse the position but instead Pitbull has taken his back - oops!
Oh France is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pitbull has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
France is trying to remain composed but Pitbull is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
France looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Pitbull is working the ground and pound. Can France escape?
Pitbull lands punches and elbows.
Pitbull gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Pitbull tries to get the hooks in deep but France pushed the leg off.
Pitbull is trying to stick to France's back but France is turning into Pitbull. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pitbull's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by France.

France scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

France seems to have got his legs back now.
Our spies down at at HWP Forcefield inform us that Pitbull has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
France stands and throws Pitbull's legs to the side, diving into side control.
France advances nicely into full mount.

France slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pitbull is on top in guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pitbull lands a nice short elbow.
France has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pitbull is working away from the top position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pitbull closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops France! Pitbull dives in looking to finish! France is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Pitbull!
Our winner, Roy Pitbull, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
