Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie tries to buck Pereira off but Pereira is having none of it.
Pereira happy to just control the position for now.
Gracie is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pereira has just dragged him back down to the mat.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Pereira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pereira is trying for a kimura here. Gracie looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pereira wins by kimura!
