Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garik Harlamov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emelianenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enea Vollare Mezzo. Garik Harlamov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Garik Harlamov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harlamov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Emelianenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Harlamov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Harlamov's back!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Emelianenko here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
