Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sambo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Golotowski's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Golotowski is looking to stand up but Sambo isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Golotowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sambo is just content to waste time from the top position. Golotowski takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Golotowski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sambo is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Thor Sambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sambo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Golotowski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sambo somewhat.

Golotowski connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Sambo covering up! Golotowski comes in with a big uppercut and Sambo goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

In his post fight interview, Andrzej Golotowski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
