Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lupercal Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quizz Al Fazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abaddon comes to the cage accompanied by Heartless. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lupercal Abaddon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Quizz Al Fazz!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fazz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Lupercal Abaddon has been cut.
Fazz's coach down at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fazz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fazz lands a head kick. Abaddon smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fazz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fazz moves out of range as Abaddon strikes.
Fazz ducks right into an uppercut from Abaddon.
Abaddon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Abaddon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fazz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fazz throws a leg kick but Abaddon sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fazz cracks Abaddon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fazz lands a leg kick that knocks Abaddon off balance momentarily.
Abaddon needs to keep his hands up - Fazz had a free shot at his head there.

Fazz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Abaddon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Abaddon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Abaddon blocks the low kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Abaddon, as that shot connected.
Fazz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Abaddon can pounce on him.
Abaddon thumps Fazz with a low kick.
Abaddon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fazz.
Abaddon walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fazz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Fazz counters with a head kick.
Abaddon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Abaddon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Abaddon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Abaddon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Abaddon tries to move into range but Fazz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fazz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Abaddon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fazz throws a head kick that misses.
Fazz swinging wildly here.
Abaddon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Abaddon lands with a cross.
Fazz ducks under a wild hook from Abaddon.
Abaddon lands a leg kick that knocks Fazz off balance momentarily.
Abaddon seems to have got his legs back now.

Lupercal Abaddon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fazz looks to land a left hand but Abaddon moved out of range nicely.
Abaddon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Abaddon is looking to slow Fazz down with leg kicks.

Abaddon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fazz pinned against the cage. Fazz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Abaddon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Fazz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Fazz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Abaddon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fazz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Abaddon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Abaddon cracks Fazz with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Abaddon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Abaddon moves out of range as Fazz strikes.
Fazz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Abaddon. Abaddon obviously looking to wear him down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Abaddon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fazz throws a head kick but Abaddon moves out of range.

Abaddon looks to throw the jab but Fazz is out of range.
Abaddon walks into a straight right hand from Fazz.
Fazz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abaddon.
Fazz scores with a shot to the body.
Abaddon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Abaddon cracks Fazz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fazz blocks a head kick by Abaddon.
Abaddon throws a looping overhand right but Fazz ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Abaddon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fazz sizes up Abaddon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fazz lunges at Abaddon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Abaddon's hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Abaddon misses the target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lupercal Abaddon will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Abaddon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fazz.

It looks like Quizz Al Fazz has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Abaddon blocks the low kick.
Abaddon throws a low kick, looking for Fazz's leg but Fazz calmly moves out of range.
Abaddon lands a glancing blow to the side of Fazz's head.
Abaddon throws an off balance right hand
and Fazz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Abaddon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abaddon just misses with a punch to the body.
Fazz circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Abaddon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Fazz follows Abaddon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
