Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Kasponov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devil Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dimitri Kasponov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devil Datsik! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasponov darts in and clinches Datsik up against the cage. Kasponov lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Devil Datsik has been cut. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kasponov. Kasponov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Datsik.
Our sources have told us that Kasponov has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Kasponov breaks the clinch.
Kasponov has closed the distance and engaged Datsik in a clinch.
Kasponov wants a takedown but no success here.
Kasponov lands with a short shot to the head. Kasponov slows down the pace here.
Kasponov lands a body shot in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Datsik has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kasponov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kasponov manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Datsik shoots in but Kasponov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dimitri Kasponov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devil Datsik. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Datsik, right into the meat.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Kasponov is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Datsik jumps guard but Kasponov stands there with Datsik around his waist. Datsik gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kasponov has Datsik pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kasponov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Datsik tumbling to the mat - Kasponov dives into Datsik's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Datsik working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Datsik is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kasponov is looking to work some ground and pound but Datsik has wrist control. Kasponov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kasponov cracks Datsik with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Datsik tries to clinch there but Kasponov circles away.
Kasponov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Datsik but Datsik pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kasponov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Datsik sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Datsik throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kasponov's waist but Kasponov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Datsik off to one side. Datsik doesn't manage to clinch there - Kasponov circles away.
Datsik is looking to clinch but Kasponov is avoiding it.
Kasponov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Datsik pinned against the cage. Datsik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kasponov is breathing heavily. Datsik is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Datsik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Datsik wants to clinch. Kasponov shoots in for a double leg but Datsik sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Datsik doesn't manage to clinch there - Kasponov circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Datsik misses with a looping right. Datsik fails with an attempt to clinch.
Datsik rushes Kasponov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Datsik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kasponov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Datsik is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kasponov is defending well for now. Kasponov tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kasponov working some nice short punches in the clinch. Datsik wants a takedown.
Kasponov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kasponov pushes Datsik up against the cage in a clinch. Datsik looking to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kasponov leaning against his opponent.
A short uppercut from Kasponov. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dimitri Kasponov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Devil Datsik's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kasponov closes the distance and pushes Datsik back into the cage. Datsik misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kasponov.
Datsik can't get the takedown.
Datsik is trying to drag Kasponov to the mat but Kasponov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kasponov pushes Datsik against the cage. Kasponov is working some dirty boxing. Kasponov pushes off with a quick right hook! Datsik goes down! Datsik tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kasponov moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dimitri Kasponov! An out of breath Dimitri Kasponov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
