Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Lacroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaz Yago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yago sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lacroix lands a left and a right that send Yago crashing to the mat, dazed. Lacroix thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Kaz Yago has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lacroix ducks under a wild hook from Yago.
Yago has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lacroix lands a jab to Yago's midsection.
Yago throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Max Lacroix has been cut.
Lacroix showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yago.
Lacroix scores with a head kick. Yago tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Yago throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lacroix lands a big right hand that sends Yago crashing to the mat! Lacroix stays standing though and waves Yago back to his feet!

Lacroix lands a nice shot to the body.
Yago scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Lacroix throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Yago crashing down! Yago tries to stagger back to his feet but Lacroix just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Yago asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Lacroix!
Our winner, Max Lacroix, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
