The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dugan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Felix blocks it with crossed arms.
Dugan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Felix has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Dugan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Felix is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dugan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Felix wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Felix jumps into guard, dragging Dugan to the mat.

Dugan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Felix on the ground.

The fighters are battling for position here. Felix manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Felix is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dugan being controlled here momentarily.
Dugan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Marcelo Felix showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Despite being in the dominant position, Marcelo Felix just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
