Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Huey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Burden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huey comes to the cage accompanied by Sail Remix version. Shane Burden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Huey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Burden! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Huey paws at him with a jab and circles away. Huey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burden's waist but Burden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Huey off to one side. Burden throws a right and a left that Huey avoids nicely. Burden scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Burden throws a head kick that misses. Burden shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Huey napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Huey is looking for a sweep. Burden trying to control the action but Huey is working from the bottom. Huey is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Burden's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Huey is refusing to be controlled, as Burden sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burden might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Huey haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Burden is looking to stall here but Huey recovers full guard. Burden wants to control from the top but Huey keeps moving. Burden trying to stand up but can't free himself from Huey's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huey uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Burden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Huey is trying to defend but Burden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Huey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burden's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burden's back! Huey slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huey doesn't have the hooks in and Burden manages to turn into his guard.
Burden has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Huey is proving hard to escape from. Burden distracts Huey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Burden is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Huey has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Burden is looking to defend but Huey has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Burden! Huey pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Burden taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jake Huey! An out of breath Jake Huey thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
