Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Balrog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanko's entrance music is Oh No by Gogol Bordello. A fine choice. Balrog has chosen DMX Intro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Vanko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Vanko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balrog comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Balrog throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Balrog throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've been hearing reports that Vanko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Balrog throws a hook but Vanko avoids it easily.
Vanko tries for a takedown but Balrog sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Vanko moves forwards but Balrog connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Balrog. Vanko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Balrog throws the left hand but Vanko avoids the punch easily.

Balrog fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Vanko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Balrog's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vanko looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vanko is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Balrog goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Vanko!

A relieved looking Ivan Vanko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
