The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisyen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Durant gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Parisyen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Durant!
Parisyen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Durant is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Parisyen has hold of Durant's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Durant tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Parisyen cranks the arm and Durant screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Durant, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
