The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Davis just misses with a punch to the body.
Good work by Davis as he checks the leg kick.
Thomas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Davis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've been informed that Davis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

In his post fight interview, Ash Thomas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
