Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Zuckercorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Ronney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronney has chosen Rocks as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barry Zuckercorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Ronney! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Zuckercorn as Ronney shoots in. Zuckercorn stuffs the takedown attempt from Ronney. Ronney gets slowly back to his feet. Zuckercorn clobbers Ronney with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A combination from Zuckercorn does no damage. Horrible takedown by Ronney or perhaps it was just good defense by Zuckercorn which made him look bad. Barry Zuckercorn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Ronney. Ronney shoots in for a takedown but Zuckercorn shows good takedown defense. Zuckercorn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zuckercorn instigates a clinch. Zuckercorn crunches a lovely knee into Ronney's ribcage. Ronney can't break the clinch.
Ronney goes for a takedown attempt but Zuckercorn pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ronney takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Bob Ronney has been cut. Zuckercorn gets caught flat footed, as Ronney shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ronney looks gassed! Ronney loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ronney being controlled here momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zuckercorn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Zuckercorn keeping moving, preventing Ronney from controlling successfully. Zuckercorn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ronney shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zuckercorn as he avoids it easily. Ronney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zuckercorn swivels and escapes. Zuckercorn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Zuckercorn throws a head kick but Ronney moves out of range.
Zuckercorn bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Zuckercorn throws a sloppy head kick and Ronney moves out of range easily. Zuckercorn throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ronney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zuckercorn's waist but Zuckercorn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ronney off to one side. Zuckercorn lands with a slapping head kick. Zuckercorn scores with a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Zuckercorn throws a one two combo.

That's going to take a lot out of Bob Ronney. Ronney blocks a head kick by Zuckercorn.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ronney trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Zuckercorn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ronney trying to keep a closed guard but Zuckercorn is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ronney is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zuckercorn is controlling him. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Zuckercorn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ronney wants to stand but Zuckercorn is controlling his posture from full guard. Zuckercorn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ronney can do to turn this around? Zuckercorn has his hands on Ronney's head, controlling the position.

Ronney postures up in Zuckercorn's guard and throws a big left but Zuckercorn blocks it. Zuckercorn is pulling down on Ronney's head. It's preventing any offense from Ronney, at least for the moment. Ronney postures up and lands a big shot to Zuckercorn's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zuckercorn wants to stand up but Ronney is controlling him. Ronney trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zuckercorn's guard. Ronney looking to sit in guard and control but Zuckercorn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Zuckercorn scoring with punches to the head and body. Ronney working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zuckercorn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zuckercorn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ronney looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Zuckercorn passes into half guard.

Ronney is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Zuckercorn pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Barry Zuckercorn showed his dominance in that final round. Well Zuckercorn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
