Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bray Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyatt's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, We're Here. Charles has chosen Don't Fake the Funk by Prince Charles as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bray Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Charles! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt staying out of range there. Wyatt clinches. Charles pushes Wyatt back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Wyatt softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Charles lands a nice shot to the body. Our sources have told us that Wyatt has been working on his elbows in the gym. Charles lands a body shot. Charles misses with some punches.
Wyatt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wyatt gets through Charles's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Charles misses with some punches.
Charles lands a hook that snaps the head of Wyatt backwards. Wyatt misses with some punches.
Charles tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wyatt's elbow. Charles misses with a short punch on the inside. Charles misses with a body punch.
Wyatt lands a left hand that snaps the head of Charles backwards. Charles avoiding damage as Wyatt throws knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wyatt misses with a hook from the clinch. Charles tries to throw a body punch but Wyatt avoids it by throwing Charles back against the cage. Charles scores with an uppercut up the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt misses with the head strike.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Charles. Charles with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Wyatt lands with a left to the head. Wyatt lands an uppercut. Charles softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Charles.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Charles. Charles tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Charles just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wyatt's brow. A head punch blocked on the inside by Charles. Charles ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Charles no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wyatt content to stall in guard here. Wyatt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyatt wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bray Wyatt wasn't doing enough on the ground. Charles jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wyatt closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard. Charles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wyatt trying to mount his opponent but Charles defends it. Charles is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles wants to control but Wyatt is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wyatt looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wyatt is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Wyatt trying to control the position from guard on top but Charles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Charles looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wyatt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Charles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bray Wyatt will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sloppy strikes from Charles. Those never looked like landing. Wyatt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A big left from Charles misses. Wyatt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Wyatt avoids the body shot from Charles.
Charles throws a lazy right hand but Wyatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wyatt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Charles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wyatt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No luck for Charles with that takedown attempt. Wyatt throws a front kick aimed at Charles's knee but Charles avoids it well. Charles throws the left hand but Wyatt avoids the punch easily. Wyatt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Charles. Wyatt throws a head kick but Charles moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wyatt. Charles keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wyatt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles lands a nice looking body shot.
Charles doesn't manage to clinch there - Wyatt circles away.
Wyatt swings and misses with a shot to the body and Charles counters with a lovely straight right hand! Charles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyatt. Charles misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice sprawl there from Wyatt as Charles shoots in. Wyatt on the wrong end of a nice jab. Charles fails with an attempt to clinch.
Charles looks to throw the jab but Wyatt is out of range. Charles swinging wildly here.

Wyatt tries to keep at a distance but Charles has taken the fight into the clinch.

Charles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Charles goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wyatt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Charles ducks under a wild hook from Wyatt. Henry Charles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice defenses there by Wyatt. Wyatt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Charles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Charles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wyatt was well out of range. Poor timing from Charles. Wyatt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A head kick misses from Wyatt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wyatt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Charles under the eye.
It looks like Henry Charles has been cut. Charles throws a right hand that Wyatt ducks under and follows up with a left that Wyatt also avoids with ease. Wyatt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Charles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles swings for the body but Wyatt moves out of range.
Charles moves out of range of the leg kick from Wyatt. Charles throws a jab but it's blocked by Wyatt. Charles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wyatt swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wyatt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Charles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Charles misses the shot to the body. A decent looking body kick lands there for Wyatt. Wyatt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wyatt moves into range and connects with a jab. Wyatt tries a head kick but it misses.
Charles misses with a wild body shot. Wyatt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Wyatt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Charles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wyatt on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Charles ducks under a wild hook from Wyatt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wyatt backs up against the cage.
Wyatt shoots for a double leg takedown but Charles sprawls well. He's pushed Wyatt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Charles lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice takedown defense from Wyatt. No joy for Charles on that attempt. Bray Wyatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Charles. Wyatt throws a leg kick that misses. Charles walks into a jab. Wyatt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Charles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Wyatt cracks Charles with a good jab. Charles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyatt. Charles throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice straight punches there by Wyatt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wyatt. Charles checks the leg kick. Charles throws a hook to the side of Wyatt's head but Wyatt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Bray Wyatt will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Henry Charles's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Charles takes a shot to the body in his stride.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Charles. Wyatt misses with a straight right. Wyatt throws a shot to the body.
Wyatt cracks the inside of Charles's front leg. Bray Wyatt is winning the standup battle so far. Charles works Wyatt's body with a nice hook. Charles throws a hook but Wyatt blocks it. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wyatt - that will leave a mark!
Wyatt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Charles. Wyatt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Charles. That did some damage! Wyatt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wyatt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Charles sprawls well. Charles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wyatt gets slowly back to his feet. Wyatt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nice sprawl there from Wyatt as Charles shoots in. Wyatt moves into the clinch. Wyatt swings wildly with an uppercut but Charles uses good head movement to avoid it. Wyatt trying to land knees to the body.
Wyatt lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Charles backwards. Wyatt working some nice short punches in the clinch. Wyatt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Charles's elbow. A head punch blocked on the inside by Wyatt. Charles tries to pull guard but Wyatt holds him up against the cage and eventually Charles drops back down to his feet.
Bray Wyatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Charles. Charles misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wyatt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles looking to pass the guard. Charles wants to control from the top but Wyatt keeps moving. Wyatt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Wyatt has his foot on Charles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Charles works his way back into a safe position though. Henry Charles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Charles trying to control but Wyatt is working from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wyatt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Charles defends it easily. Wyatt is pulling down on Charles's head to control his posture. Charles trying to control the position from guard on top but Wyatt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt is looking for a triangle but Charles pushes his legs off easily.
Charles trying to control but Wyatt is working from the bottom. Charles postures up and lands a big shot to Wyatt's brow. Bray Wyatt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wyatt pulls Charles in close to prevent any damage. Bray Wyatt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Charles looking to sit in guard and control but Wyatt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Charles working for submissions but it's allowed Wyatt to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wyatt sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wyatt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Charles trying to hold on to Wyatt's head to control him but Wyatt postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Bray Wyatt showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wyatt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
