Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bong Toe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avalon's entrance music is Harder Better Faster - Daft Punk. A fine choice. Toe has chosen 2Pac - Under Pressure as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, James Avalon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bong Toe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon walks into a stiff left hand from Toe.
Avalon throws a hook but Toe avoids it easily.
Toe cracks a nice hook into Avalon's ribs.
Avalon tries to land a leg kick but Toe saw it coming and moves away.
Avalon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Toe.
Toe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Avalon throws a leg kick
and Toe counters with a nice uppercut.

Avalon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Toe to the mat! Toe manages to get full guard.
Avalon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Avalon tries to move to full mount but Toe actually manages to regain half guard.
Avalon wants to pass the guard but Toe is defending well.

Avalon is trying to work for a kimura but Toe is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Avalon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Avalon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Avalon moves nicely into side control.
Toe can't do much from the bottom here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Avalon tries for a kimura but Toe is defending well.
Avalon slows the pace down.
Avalon working away.
Toe is trying to improve his position.
Toe keeps trying to improve his position.

Avalon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Toe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Toe prevents Avalon from improving position.

Avalon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Avalon wants to control but Toe is keeping him busy.
Avalon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Avalon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Avalon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Avalon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Toe has escaped the position, nice work there.
Avalon moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Avalon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Avalon dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Avalon fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Toe is looking to clinch.
Toe motions for Avalon to come forward. Toe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Toe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Avalon throws out a leg kick but Toe moves out of range and Avalon only half commits.

Avalon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Toe tries to break the clinch but Avalon is controlling the position.
Avalon misses with a hook from the clinch.
Toe wants to get back to striking at distance but Avalon won't allow it.
Avalon misses with a knee to the head.

Avalon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Avalon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Avalon has Toe up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Avalon keeps control of Toe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Avalon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Toe backwards.


Toe is rocked!
Avalon lands a left hand.
Toe is still on wobbly legs! Can Avalon finish him?

Avalon manages to break the clinch.
Avalon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Toe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Avalon throws out the jab.

Avalon takes the fight into the clinch.
Avalon jerks Toe to the side and lands a massive knee to the head that knocks him out cold! Toe's lifeless body is proped up only by the cage. Avalon steps back, hand raised, as the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). James Avalon!
