The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cottero uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cottero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Flanders can pounce on him.

Cottero takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cottero.

Flanders throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Flanders is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Flanders rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cottero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Flanders moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cottero is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Flanders looks up at the clock. Bad move! Cottero lands a right hand from hell, dropping Flanders. Cottero pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
