Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Captain Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Automatic Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquel has chosen Kung Fu Panda as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murphy swivels and escapes.
Murphy throws out a loose jab but Vasquel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murphy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vasquel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murphy to the mat! Murphy manages to get full guard.
Vasquel won't allow Murphy to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vasquel postures up.
Vasquel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Murphy holds on and takes a little breather.
Murphy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vasquel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vasquel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Murphy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vasquel's guard.
Vasquel wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Vasquel tries to buck Murphy off but Murphy is having none of it.
Murphy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Vasquel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vasquel looks gassed!
Vasquel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vasquel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murphy as he jumps to the side.
Captain Murphy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Automatic Vasquel.
Murphy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Captain Murphy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Murphy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Automatic Vasquel has been cut.
Vasquel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murphy lands a jab to Vasquel's midsection.

Murphy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Murphy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Murphy thuds a left hand into Vasquel's body.
Vasquel on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Vasquel walks straight into a right hand from Murphy - that's dropped him! Murphy jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vasquel from any more punishment! Vasquel complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Captain Murphy!
