Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Warren Rosario! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fisty McCuffs! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCuffs thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rosario if he has to take too many more of those.
McCuffs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rosario scores with a takedown into McCuffs's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCuffs is wriggling around but Rosario manages to pass to half guard.
McCuffs tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Rosario manages to move to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. McCuffs wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Rosario will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rosario landing strikes from the mount and McCuffs is in trouble! McCuffs's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCuffs takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Rosario controlling the pace for now.

Rosario is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McCuffs can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Warren Rosario has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Rosario closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right from McCuffs. Rosario tries for a takedown but McCuffs manages to get underhooks.

McCuffs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rosario was well out of range. Poor timing from McCuffs. Warren Rosario is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McCuffs goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McCuffs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McCuffs throws a head kick but Rosario moves out of range.

McCuffs throws a leg kick but Rosario sees it coming and checks it nicely. McCuffs throws a sloppy head kick and Rosario moves out of range easily. McCuffs has closed the distance and engaged Rosario in a clinch.

Rosario tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McCuffs's elbow. McCuffs tries to circle away but Rosario has him pinned against the cage. Rosario manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

McCuffs throws a sloppy head kick and Rosario counters with a low kick, right behind McCuffs 's knee. McCuffs tries a head kick but it misses.
McCuffs darts in and clinches Rosario up against the cage. Rosario can't get the takedown.
McCuffs wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Rosario jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McCuffs walks away with a smile on his face. Rosario gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. McCuffs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCuffs is breathing heavily. McCuffs throws a head kick but Rosario moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rosario blocks a head kick by McCuffs.
McCuffs takes the fight into the clinch. McCuffs wants to break the clinch but can't.
McCuffs tries to circle away but Rosario has him pinned against the cage. Rosario pulls McCuffs into guard.
McCuffs prevents Rosario from getting back to his feet. Rosario is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McCuffs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rosario. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Warren Rosario. McCuffs misses with a body kick. McCuffs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McCuffs wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Warren Rosario. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCuffs throws a lazy head kick and Rosario counters with a head kick. McCuffs throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Rosario shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCuffs as he avoids it easily. Rosario tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rosario tries to keep at a distance but McCuffs has taken the fight into the clinch. Rosario decides to pull guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rosario looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Warren Rosario dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Rosario throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCuffs's waist but McCuffs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rosario off to one side. Rosario doesn't manage to clinch there - McCuffs circles away.

Rosario rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCuffs moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rosario misses with a leg kick. Rosario tries for a takedown but McCuffs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McCuffs throws a head kick but Rosario moves out of range.

Rosario takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. McCuffs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McCuffs throws a leg kick and Rosario counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McCuffs tries to circle away but Rosario has him pinned against the cage. McCuffs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rosario has dropped down and is working for a takedown. McCuffs is trying to keep an underhook but Rosario manages to get the takedown into half guard. Rosario looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McCuffs scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rosario manages to mount him!

That's three minutes gone in the round. McCuffs is trying to escape the mount but Rosario keeps good control and instead manages to take McCuffs's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Can McCuffs hold on?! Rosario is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Rosario just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Warren Rosario showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rosario, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
