Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tsutomu Miyazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tormy Skillz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tsutomu Miyazaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tormy Skillz!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyazaki blocks a head kick by Skillz.
Skillz misses with a head kick.
Tormy Skillz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skillz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miyazaki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Skillz - the referee stops the clock and Miyazaki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Skillz. Miyazaki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Skillz looks to land a body kick but Miyazaki moved away.

Skillz throws out a leg kick but Miyazaki moves out of range and Skillz only half commits.

Miyazaki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Skillz on his heels. He'll look to pass Skillz's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Skillz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miyazaki escapes and throws Skillz's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miyazaki is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Skillz can't escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Miyazaki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Skillz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
BOOM! Miyazaki connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Skillz is looking to improve his position but Miyazaki isn't that keen on the idea.
Skillz wants to hold on but Miyazaki pushes him away.
Miyazaki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Miyazaki is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Miyazaki gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Miyazaki gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Miyazaki apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Skillz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Skillz throws a lazy head kick
and Miyazaki counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Miyazaki makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Skillz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Skillz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miyazaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Skillz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miyazaki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skillz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miyazaki has managed to get both his arms back between Skillz's legs - danger averted.
Skillz has momentary wrist control but Miyazaki slips an elbow through the middle.

That's time! Miyazaki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Skillz felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Tsutomu Miyazaki really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that FinnFighter Nutrition (Five 160Q supps!) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
