Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Novi Mugiyanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Flores might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West-Stronger. Mugiyanto has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Novi Mugiyanto will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mugiyanto looks to clinch
and Flores counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Flores.
Flores working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Mugiyanto is trying to force a seperation but Flores has the dominant position.
Flores breaks from the clinch.
Mugiyanto throws a lazy right hand but Flores sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Flores avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Flores counters by clinching up.

Flores slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mugiyanto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Anthony Flores has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
