The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kline gets a clinch.
Steamboat fails to pull guard.
Kline gets underhooks to prevent Steamboat's takedown attempt.
Steamboat tries for a takedown but Kline manages to get underhooks.
Louis Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Steamboat.
Kline changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Steamboat fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Steamboat as Kline shoots in.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kline looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Louis Kline seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kline closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steamboat circles away.

Steamboat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kline keeps working.

Steamboat looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Steamboat tries for a kimura but Kline is defending well.
Kline is pushing Steamboat's head away, looking to escape. Steamboat manages to hold on to the position though.
Steamboat advances to mount.
Kline is just holding on here. Steamboat manages to take his back.
A lull in the action here.

Steamboat looking to break Kline's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kline remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Steamboat will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Steamboat looks gassed!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kline is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Steamboat gets his way!

Steamboat is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kline defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Steamboat keeps control of the position as Kline tries to break free.

Steamboat has got one arm under Kline's chin. This could be trouble... Kline trying to control the other hand but Steamboat gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kline has tapped out! The fight is over!
