Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigano displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jass.
Jass has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jass there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jass shoots in for a double leg but Pigano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Hugh Jass has been cut.
Pigano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pigano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jass. That did some damage!
Horrible takedown by Jass or perhaps it was just good defense by Pigano which made him look bad.
Pauly Pigano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugh Jass.
Pigano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pigano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pigano wants it to stay on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jass.
Jass takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A lazy left from Pigano finds it's target.

and Pigano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jass shoots in looking for a takedown but Pigano manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jass's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pigano catches Jass with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've been told by Pigano's head coaches at Gentlemanly Scholars Fight Club Gym(4 Sprbt 4*+)(1 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jass is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pigano is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jass.

Pigano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jass takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pigano lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Jass goes down and covers up as Pigano starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

After winning the bout, Pauly Pigano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
