Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Hammet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Sheehan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammet comes to the cage accompanied by Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammet looks to clinch
and Sheehan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Gordon Hammet has been cut.
Hammet forces Sheehan back against the cage and clinches.
Sheehan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hammet to keep the fight standing.
Sheehan jumps guard but Hammet turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Sheehan drags the fight down to the ground.
Hammet stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammet scores with a kick to the body.
Sheehan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hammet tries to clinch there but Sheehan circles away.

Hammet moves into range and clinches up with Sheehan.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Hammet.
Sheehan tries to pull guard but Hammet forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Gordon Hammet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teddy Sheehan.
Hammet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hammet tries to clinch but Sheehan is having none of it.
Hammet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sheehan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hammet scores with a leg kick.
Whack! Hammet lands a heavy head kick that drops Sheehan. The ref tackles Hammet to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Sheehan was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Gordon Hammet!
A very excited looking Gordon Hammet made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
