Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rik Borburgh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bryan Poison!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borburgh misses with a takedown
and Poison counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Poison counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Borburgh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Poison defends well and Borburgh ends up having to push Poison into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Borburgh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poison swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Poison pushes Borburgh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Borburgh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's time! Borburgh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Borburgh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poison tries to avoid it but Borburgh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poison to the ground. Poison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Poison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Poison swings around for an armbar but Borburgh sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Poison's guard.

Well Poison has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
