Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Marr Sepio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Raith!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sepio misses with a body shot.
Raith has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Sepio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Raith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A shot to the liver by Sepio. Beautiful body shot.
Sepio connects with a solid leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Raith or perhaps it was just good defense by Sepio which made him look bad.
We've been told by Sepio's head coaches at SWF GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sepio lands a big head kick that sends Raith tumbling to the mat! Sepio takes a step backwards and waves Raith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Raith is rocked!
It looks like Thomas Raith has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sepio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Raith.
Sepio swats away the attempt to clinch by Raith.
Raith wants to clinch but Sepio slips to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sepio lands a big head kick that sends Raith tumbling to the mat! Sepio takes a step backwards and waves Raith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Raith is still on wobbly legs! Can Sepio finish him?
Raith moves to clinch but Sepio breaks away
and Sepio counters with a nice leg kick.
Sepio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Raith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Raith looks winded!
Sepio throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Raith crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marr Sepio!
A pretty intense looking Marr Sepio took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
