Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hank Schrader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alek Khabilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hank Schrader ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alek Khabilov! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schrader looks to throw a body kick and Khabilov counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Schrader avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Schrader keeping moving, preventing Khabilov from controlling successfully. Khabilov working some strikes from top position. Schrader working a defensive guard here.
Khabilov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Khabilov won't allow Schrader to sweep him here. Khabilov distracts Schrader with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khabilov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Khabilov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Schrader utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Khabilov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Schrader could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Schrader is trying to control the position but Khabilov postures up. Khabilov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Khabilov stands up over Schrader , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khabilov scoring with punches to the head and body. Schrader is trying to keep Khabilov in close.

Schrader is rocked! Schrader might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Khabilov trying to control but Schrader is working from the bottom. Oh Schrader is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Khabilov scoring with some ground and pound. Khabilov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khabilov passes Schrader 's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Khabilov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Schrader with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Schrader seems to have got his legs back now. Schrader has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khabilov is working away from the top position though. Khabilov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Schrader is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
