Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Clare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clare comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não Bate. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Aurelio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Clare fails with the takedown.

Clare drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Clare drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aurelio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clare has Aurelio in his guard.
Aurelio throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clare works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Aurelio passes Clare's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Clare tries to get to full guard but Aurelio has control of the leg.

Aurelio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clare swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Clare is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aurelio defends well.
Aurelio keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Clare's head.
Clare can't keep his opponent in guard - Aurelio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Clare has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Aurelio escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Aurelio!
Clare looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Aurelio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clare keeps working.

Clare gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Aurelio cracks Clare with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Aurelio wants to finish this one by submission but Clare is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Aurelio.
Clare tries to reverse the position but Aurelio maintains control.
Aurelio lands with some strikes.
Clare wants to hold on but Aurelio pushes him away.

Clare is in all sorts of trouble here.
Aurelio lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Aurelio has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Clare's face.
