A fine choice. Alex Louvierre could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rcrs Sarabjit's chin.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rcrs Sarabjit! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Louvierre misses with a wild combination.

A jab from Louvierre misses. Sarabjit throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sarabjit fails to land the takedown. Some wild striking there from Louvierre.
Sarabjit shoots in and drives through. Louvierre sprawls well. Sarabjit clinches up against the cage. Sarabjit drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sarabjit is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sarabjit jumps guard but Louvierre turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Louvierre misses with a short punch on the inside. Louvierre tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Louvierre is struggling to control the position. Sarabjit taking a breather. Sarabjit jumps guard and drags Louvierre to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Louvierre slips nicely into half guard. Louvierre tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sarabjit knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Louvierre seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Louvierre's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Louvierre escapes and gets back to his feet.

It looks like Rcrs Sarabjit has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Louvierre has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sarabjit is proving hard to escape from. Sarabjit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Louvierre defends it easily. Louvierre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sarabjit looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Louvierre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Louvierre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sarabjit moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alex Louvierre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sarabjit. Sarabjit showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Louvierre.

Louvierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Sarabjit, before circling back to the center of the mat. Louvierre looks to land a combination but Sarabjit avoids it well. Sarabjit shoots for a takedown but Louvierre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alex Louvierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sarabjit is defended easily by Louvierre. Louvierre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rcrs Sarabjit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Louvierre throws a series of punches but Sarabjit moves out of range. Sarabjit shoots in and bounces Louvierre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Louvierre pulls Sarabjit in close to prevent any damage. Louvierre uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Sarabjit misses with a takedown attempt - Louvierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Sarabjit looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sloppy strikes from Sarabjit. Those never looked like landing. Louvierre connects with a body shot. Sarabjit tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Louvierre manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Louvierre drops Sarabjit with a left right combo! Louvierre follows him down to the ground into side control.
That has opened up Rcrs Sarabjit's cut even more. Sarabjit is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Louvierre just content to control the position.

Louvierre lands a few punches from side control. Louvierre in side control, just content to control the action for now. Louvierre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sarabjit on the ground. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Louvierre lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sarabjit down.

We're going to have a standup here because Alex Louvierre wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Louvierre throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sarabjit counters with a three punch combo that has Louvierre backing up. Louvierre nods at Sarabjit to acknowledge the strikes. Sarabjit drives through with a takedown into Louvierre's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Louvierre has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sarabjit off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Sarabjit goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Louvierre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sarabjit can do to turn this around?

Sarabjit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Louvierre throws a left that rocks Sarabjit and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Louvierre dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Sarabjit regain composure!
Sarabjit is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Louvierre has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sarabjit is still on wobbly legs! Can Louvierre finish him? Sarabjit takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Louvierre throws a right hand that Sarabjit ducks under and follows up with a left that Sarabjit also avoids with ease. Sarabjit avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sarabjit shoots in for a takedown but Louvierre shows good takedown defense. Sarabjit seems to have recovered his senses. Sarabjit with a lazy takedown attempt and Louvierre counters with a big right hand! Oh Sarabjit is in trouble here! Louvierre follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Louvierre! A relieved looking Alex Louvierre thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
