Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 11 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Brown Wilson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson looking to score a takedown here. Penn is defending well but Wilson drives through and ends up in Penn's guard.
Penn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.
Penn wants to pass the guard but Wilson is keeping the position.
Wilson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Penn trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Penn is looking to work some ground and pound but Wilson has wrist control.
Penn throws a big elbow that misses.
Penn distracts Wilson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully.
Penn won't allow Wilson to sweep him here.

Wilson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Penn controls the pace.
Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Penn forces his way into half guard.
Penn wants to pass the guard but Wilson is defending well.
Penn throwing shots but Wilson is blocking nicely.
Penn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Penn works his foot free and advances to mount.
Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Penn is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Penn misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Penn is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wilson is surviving well by controlling Penn's body position as best he can.
Penn lands a couple of good shots and Wilson has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Penn lands strikes to the head.

Penn looking to break Wilson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wilson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Penn will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Penn trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Wilson covers up after that shot from Penn.
Wilson is really stuck here.
Wilson has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Penn.

I really don't envy Wilson right now.
