Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusiewicz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Janikowski wants to clinch.
Rusiewicz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Janikowski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Rusiewicz manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Janikowski gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Janikowski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rusiewicz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rusiewicz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Janikowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Janikowski distracts Rusiewicz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Janikowski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Janikowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rusiewicz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rusiewicz is breathing heavily.
Janikowski looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Janikowski drops an elbow to the side of Rusiewicz's head.

Janikowski lands a big elbow - Rusiewicz is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Janikowski!
