Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Mcintosh! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dominguez . Mcintosh blocks a head kick by Dominguez .
Nice body kick there by Mcintosh. Mcintosh tries a head kick but it misses.
Dominguez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcintosh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dominguez somewhat. A punch combination from Mcintosh misses. Mcintosh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcintosh misses with a right hand so Dominguez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mcintosh looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcintosh, not yet. Mcintosh looking for subs off his back but Dominguez has passed one foot through into half guard.
Mcintosh is trying to escape back to his feet but Dominguez uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dominguez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mcintosh taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcintosh is pushing Dominguez 's head away, looking to escape. Dominguez manages to hold on to the position though. Mcintosh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mcintosh is trying to control Dominguez 's posture but Dominguez avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dominguez tries to move into full mount but can't pass Mcintosh's legs. Dominguez trying to control the position but Mcintosh is working away. Mcintosh is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dominguez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mcintosh struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh is looking to reverse the position. Dominguez stands up. Mcintosh shoots for a double leg takedown but Dominguez sprawls well. He's pushed Mcintosh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dominguez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcintosh tries to avoid it but Dominguez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcintosh to the ground. Mcintosh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Dominguez . That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcintosh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dominguez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mcintosh's guard now. Mcintosh throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dominguez won't allow Mcintosh to get back to his feet. Dominguez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mcintosh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dominguez is controlling him. Dominguez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dominguez trying to control but Mcintosh is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Dominguez wasn't doing enough on the ground. Dominguez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcintosh.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dominguez gets a double leg takedown into Mcintosh's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcintosh tries to clinch but Dominguez moves out of range. A head kick from Mcintosh lands but Dominguez takes it in his stride. Dominguez gets tackled into the cage by Mcintosh. Mcintosh maintains the clinch. Dominguez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mcintosh jumps guard and drags Dominguez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dominguez advances to half guard. Mcintosh controlling the position well. Dominguez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Dominguez is looking to advance position but Mcintosh won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcintosh tries to get to full guard but Dominguez has control of the leg. Dominguez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dominguez uses his free foot to push down on Mcintosh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcintosh. Josh Dominguez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dominguez landing shots from mount. Dominguez prevents Mcintosh from getting the reversal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dominguez stands up from Mcintosh's guard - Dominguez perhaps looking for a knockout. Dominguez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcintosh sprawls well. Mcintosh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dominguez gets slowly back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mcintosh is looking to land body kicks. Dominguez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcintosh paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dominguez has his takedown stuffed and Mcintosh counters with an inside leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Dominguez . That's going to take a lot out of him. Dominguez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcintosh as he avoids it easily. Dominguez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mcintosh moves into full guard.
Mcintosh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dominguez defends well.

Dominguez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dominguez 's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dominguez slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh is looking to control Dominguez 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcintosh avoid being mounted? Mcintosh is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dominguez is staying active. Mcintosh tries to kick Dominguez off in order to stand up. Dominguez Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Mcintosh can't do much from the bottom here. Mcintosh takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Mcintosh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mcintosh is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Mcintosh is trying desperately to improve position. Mcintosh is still trying to improve position. Dominguez controlling the pace for now. Mcintosh can't escape the position.

Mcintosh is trying to stand. Dominguez lands a big shot there that rocks Mcintosh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dominguez lands a nice shot to the head. Rick Mcintosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Josh Dominguez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dominguez blocks Mcintosh's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Dominguez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dominguez , winning every round. Will the judges agree?
