The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zanotto.
Williams lands with a right hand.
Williams paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zanotto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zanotto throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zanotto thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ben Zanotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zanotto takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.
Zanotto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Zanotto shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Zanotto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams connects with the punch.

Zanotto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Williams told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
